Mrs Madsen welcomed visitors from Rongokokako, and then called on Mrs Littler to address the meeting. She gave a very interesting talk on her trip to Samoa. She also showed members photos and other articles, which she had brought back with her. Mrs Littler was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks. The competition for the month resulted as follows; —Seniors: Almond fingers, Mrs Madsen, 1; Mrs Thorbey, 2; Airs Seymour, 3. Juniors: Sultana cake, Miss O. Halberg, 1; Miss H. Madsen, 2; Miss I. Madsen, 3. Best flower in the garden: Mrs Halberg, 1; Mrs Nagel, 2; Mrs Madsen, 3. In a game which was conducted by Mrs and Miss Thorbey. Miss H. Madsen and Miss O. Halberg tied for first place, Mrs J. Dick being second and Miss I. Madsen third. Mrs Littler and Mrs Jones were accorded a vote of thanks for judging the competitions.

A dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Misses H. Madsen and A. Dick. The singing of the National Anthem brought an enjoyable gathering to an end.
