PRESBYTERIAN LADIES’ GUILD.

LIST OF PRIZEWINNERS.

The Greytown Presbyterian Ladies' Guild held a Bazaar and Flower Show in the Crown Theatre on Friday. Then was an excellent display of spring flowers, and the judge, Mr Hale, of Masterton. expressed his pleasure al the quality of the exhibits. The various stalls were well stocked and did excellent business. Mrs A. Johnson (president) and Mrs Bower (secretary) had the support of the following stall-holders: —

General stall: Mesdames T. Orr, N McLeod, W. Gates, i Cake stall: Mesdames A. Gregor. Todd, Burgess, Evans. Fancy stall: Mesdames Maddison. Horton, Miss Stephenson. Produce stall: Mesdames Bower. Brabender, Wallis, Morgan. Sweets: Mrs Whimp. Bran tub: Mrs R. P. Anker.

Tea room: Mesdames Barnard, Dunett, Todd and Miss Anker. Mr Bloomfield expressed his appreciation to all who had made donations towards the bazaar and also to the exhibitors in the flower display.

In declaring the bazaar open the Mayoress (Mr A. W. Horton) congratulated the Guild on their splendid efforts and expressed the hope that thcresults would be satisfactory.

Mrs A. Johnson presented Mrs Horton with a shoulder spray of spring flowers.

The takings for the day were over £65. Prize list: —
