THE AOTEAROA
ARRIVAL IN AUCKLAND FROM SYDNEY.
UNEVENTFUL FLIGHT OF NINE HOURS.

The flying-boat Aotearoa flew from Sydney to Auckland in 9 hours 10 minutes today. The machine travelled from Auckland to Australia on Sunday, September 24.
Leaving Sydney on the return flight at 4.14 a.m. (Sydney time) today, she landed on the Waitemata at 3.24 p.m. (New Zealand time). With Captain Burgess as commander the crew and officials aboard totalled 12. Both the flight to Sydney a week ago and the return journey to Auckland were uneventful.
