MASTERTON RACES

APPEAL TO SPORTS BODIES. AVOIDANCE OF CLASHING IN DATES. The Masterton Racing Club again appeals to sporting organisations in the Wairarapa not to allow any fixtures to clash with the annual race meeting on Thursday and Saturday of next week. For the past two years this appeal has been made with excellent results, and the Racing Club is grateful for the cooperation given by other organisations. Since the dates of all race meetings are fixed by the New Zealand Racing Conference, it is not possible far the Masterton Club to alter its arrangements, hence the appeal for other bodies to assist by avoiding any clash in dates with the race fixtures.
