CRICKET CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr H. Smith (president) occupied the chair at the annual meeting of the Eketahuna Cricket Club. In speaking to the annual report and balance sheet the chairman said that the financial position was the strongest ever recorded in the history of the club. The prospects for the season were good and considerable enthusiasm was being displayed by members. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow:—Patron, Mr C. T. Richardson; president, Mr H. Smith; vice-presidents, Messrs M. W. Priest, R. Payne, V/. Hornblow S. J. O'Regan and H. E. Rogers; secretary. Mi’ F. Robinson; club captain, Mr H. Higginson; vice-captain, Mr F. Robinson; committee Messrs W. Leith, E. Francois, P. Payne, R. Holford. D. Curry; coaches, captain and vice-captain; delegates to Association, Messrs H. Higginson and F. Robinson; auditor, Mr B. Dinnan. The subscription was fixed at 10s for seniors and 5s for players of 18 years and under. > Practice nights were fixed for Tuesdays and Thursdays.
