FINAL INGLESIDE
WAIRARAPA CALEDONIAN SOCIETY. AN ENJOYABLE GATHERING. The Wairarapa Caledonian Society held the final Ingleside of the season in the Masonic Hall last evening when a large gathering of members and their friends were present. The evening was a great success and a fitting wind-up for the season. The chief. Mr T. S. Arcus, recited grace before partaking of the Haggis, which was ceremoniously piped in and carried by President R. McKenzie. National dancing was interspersed with modern dancing. The Ladies’ Committee responsible for the supper arrangements were Mesdames J. B. McLean, H. E. Pither, G. Beecroft. J. J. Hunter and J. A. E. Kerslake.
Pipers assisting were Pipers J. McKenzie, L. Pither, R. Burling and L. Forsberg. The Secretary, Mr Ray Lendrum, had made complete arrangements for the gathering, and this was responsible for the smooth running of the Ingleside,
