CYCLIST INJURED
COLLISION WITH CAR IN QUEEN STREET.
FRACTURED THIGH AND ABRASIONS.
While proceeding in a southerly direction along Queen Street, Masterton, at about 7.45 p.m. last night, a car driven by Mr C. C. Ross, of Te Ore Ore Road, Lansdowne, struck a cyclist, Mr William Dornan, 99 Bannister Street, Masterton, a few yards south of the Church Street and Queen Street intersection. Mr Dornan was thrown heavily to the ground and suffered a fractured thigh and extensive abrasions.
Mr Dornan was attended by Dr. A. Hosking and taken to the Masterton Hospital. His condition this morning was reported to be fairly comfortable.
