There are 23 acceptors for the Kensington Handicap (of £3BO. seven furlongs) in which the topweight is The Albatross 10.1, Bramol 9.9, Fakenham 9.9, Moorsotis 8.6. > Monday. —Metropolitan, of £3BOO, 1 mile 5 furlongs: Royal Chief. Buzalong Laiglon, Malagigi, Cooranga, Adios, Bristol, Feminist, Fearless, Red Sails, Gold Pan, Vestal, Hilarious, Jan Baz. Own Folk, Pantier, Head Check. The Epsom Handicap field is below average standard. George Price's good pair, Adios and Mildura, concluded solid preparations, and they are well in the public eye for Epsom. Geebung, Astounding, St Constant, Micawber and Gilltown are also expected to fight out the finish. Te Hero is a doubtful quantity, because of waywardness at the barrier.

Beau Vite will have strong rivals in Victorian, Wilson and Gold Salute in the Derby. The jockey, Badger, ‘is to ride Wilson.

Mosaic and Royal Chief are expected to fight out the finish in the Colin Stephen Stakes. The former is improving with every gallop, but Royal Chief is less brilliant than when he arrived. There has been two inches of rain on the Randwick course since the break in the weather. Course officials says that if rain ceased tonight, which is doubtful, all will be well for Saturday's meeting, but otherwise a heavy track is inevitable.
