Rotarian J. J. Hunter, presided over the weekly luncheon of the Masterton Rotary Club today. • There was an excellent attendance of members to hear Dr. Alexander Gillies, of Wellington, deliver an interesting and informative address on Red Cross Society. As Dr. Gillies is chairman of the executive of the New Zealand Rod Cross Society and also chairman of Hie Joint Council of the Order of St. John and the New Zealand Red Cross Society, he is in a position to speak with full authority of the activities of il'.cse societies which come into prominence so much in time!’ of war or oilier national or international emerge neies.
