ACCIDENT AT MAiARAWA.

ARM CRUSHED BY ROLLER. ("Times-Age” Special.) A painful accident befell Mr Thomas Hicks, a farmer, of Matarawa yesterday. He was engaged in rolling a paddock when the horses bolted. Mr flicks was thrown .to the ground and the roller passed over him. His right arm was terribly crushed. He was admitted to Croydon Private Hospital. Carterton. but it is problematical whether the arm can be saved. It is Mr Hicks’s sixty-second birthday today.
