AGRICULTURAL CLUBS
MEETING AT GREYTOWN.
(“Times-Age” Special.)
A meeting of the Wairarapa Boy: and Girls’ Agricultural Clubs' Association was held at Greytown this week Mr Keats being in the chair. The secretary reported that entries in this year’s .competitions to date were: Carrots, 34; mangels, 8; calves, 126; lambs, 64. Judges were selected for the lamb and calf classes.
It was decided to hold the championship judging on the Carterton Showgrounds. Arrangements for the refreshments* and ribbons were left in the hands of the secretary. Messrs McKenzie and Rayner were appointed marshals of the pedigree and grade judging respectively. It was decided to thank Mr Mills for his valued services to the committee and wish him success in his new position.
