MARTINBOROUGH

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH ANNUAL MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual congregational meeting of the Presbyterian Church was held on Tuesday night, there being a good attendance. The Rev John Mann presided.

The reports and balance sheets of the various Church activities were read and adopted, after which a social evening was held and supper served. Items were contributed by the choir, Miss Ola Nicol (pianoforte selection), Miss Margery Mason (recitation), Miss H. McNally, and Mesdames Burch and Mason (solos), and Mr Mann (song). Mrs Mann acted as accompanist. Golf Draw. The following is the golf draw for Saturday:— A grade: Mrs Griffiths v Miss Hancox; Miss Jury v Miss Harvey; Mrs McConnell v Mrs Marflitt; Mrs Knutson v Mrs Parsons; Miss Kershaw v Miss K. Martin; Miss Stewart v Miss Mahood; Miss Baker v Miss Blundell; Mrs Baker v Mrs McLeod.

C grade: Mrs Kitching v Mrs Beveridge; Miss Harding v Mrs Skill; Mrs Sadd v Miss Macdonald; Mrs Boyd a bye. Players must be off the first tee by 1 p.m. ■
