ODD FELLOWS’ CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. — At the annual meeting of the Odd Fellows’ Club, which was well attended. it was reported that the prospects for the coming season appead to be bright. It was decided to enter a team in the Wairarapa junior championship. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Bro. F. R. Evans; president. Bro. R. Krahagen; vice-presidents, Bros. A. Torrance, A. P. Smith. S. Barber, P. M. Smith, H. Jacob, W. Darvill, R. Baikie, F. Knowles, C. McCord, F. Keen, W. Palmer, J. Harris; selection committee, Bros. C. Minifie, J. Magill, A. P. Smith; delegates to the association, Bros. E. J. Mooney and J. Magill. A vote of condolence was passed with the relatives of the late Bro. A. Rippon. The annual report stated: —The season was a successful one and the finances arc in a very healthy state. Special thanks are due to Bros. Evans. Krahagen and- Smith for donations to the funds. Although not successful in winning the junior championship the fine spirit in which all the matches were played made the season a very enjoyable one. We offer our congratulations to the Carterton Club in annexing the honours for the year. The following were the averages of each player during the season:—Batting: Torrance, 31.3; Mooney, 31.2; Reid, 27; Groube, 25.3; Dingle. 22.5; Smith, 20; Sturgeon, 14.4; Minifie, 9.4; Norman, 8.3; Welch, 7; Knowles, 6.5; Magill, 5.7. Bowling: Mooney, 12.4; Magill, 13.5; Sturgeon, 14.8; Welch, 16; Smith, 18.8; Torrance, 22.09.
