PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Ag6” Special.) Mr J. W. Card and the Misses Esma and June Card are weekend visitors to Palmerston North. Mr Card will take part in the law golf tournament which is to be played over the weekend. Miss Catherine Bargh, daughter of Mr and Mrs C. Bargh, Pahautea, is an inmate of the Greytown Hospital where she is undergoing treatment. The funeral of the late Mrs George Hyland took place yesterday afternoon and was largely attended. After a service at St John’s Church, which was conducted by the Rev J. S. Holland, the cortege left for the Crematorium at Karori. The pall bearers were Messrs Stalker (3), A Hyland, R. Harris, F. W. Smith. The late Mrs Hyland leaves a husband to mourn his loss. Their only son was killed in the Great War.
