MASTERTON BRANCH.
SUCCESSFUL DANCE AT OPAKI.
The Masterton branch of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters held a very successful dance in Mr Cooper's barn at Opaki. The large attendance enjoyed dancing till a late hour. Mr C. Dahlberg was a capable M.C.
The Monte Carlo waltz competition was won by Mr G. Lanigan and Miss McLauchlan, while a novelty dance was won by Mr L. Dahlberg and Miss Swinson. Mr J. Barnes supplied the music, extras being played by Messrs Denby and Cooper. By popular request the committee, who greatly appreciated the generous public support, intend holding another dance at an early date. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr C. Dahlberg for his work in connection with the dance.
