ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
CADET DIVISION DANCE. The dance in the Masonic Hall tonight to raise funds for Masterton St John Ambulance Cadet Division is worthy of the wholehearted support of the dancing public. It is encouraging to realise that there are groups of boys and young men throughout New Zealand who have been thoroughly trained and are able to render first aid in any emergency. Such work cannot be carried out without financial assistance, as bandages, medical equipment, and uniforms must all be kept up to standard, and it was with this financial aspect in view that these local dances were organised. The committee has spared no effort to make this dance the most successful function yet held. The music is being supplied by Jack Barnes’s Rhythm Boys, and a hard-working ladies’ committee will be responsible for the supper. The usual popular prices of 4s double, 2s 6d men and 2s ladies will be charged. There is a money order offered to the winners of the Monte Carlo i waltz and novelty dances. '
