WAIRARAPA SHOW
CHILLED BEEF PRIZES. The annual show of the Wairarapa and East Coast Pastoral and Agricultural Society is to be held on October 25 anti 26. Entries for all sections close on October 11, except for the school drawing and writing classes which close definitely on October 9. Since the issue of the schedules further prizes in the 1 chilled beef section, amounting to £lO, have been received from the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board and the prizes for the show judging will now be £lO first, £6 second and £4 third. In addition the Society’s gold medal will be awarded for the champion single animal in this class. All sections are well catered for. The committee is hoping to receive very strong support from all sections of the community. Schedules may be obtained free on application to Mr L. H. Smart, secretary, P.O. Box 25, Carterton.
