COMPETITIONS DURING WARTIME CONSULTATION WITH HOME OFFICE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON. September 21. The Football Association, after a consultation with the Home Office, is giving the fullest support to friendly and competition matches. During wartime football matches will be confined to local and district groups on Saturdays and bank holidays.
