MODEL AERO CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. At the annual meeting of the Masterton Model Aero Club held in the club room, Perry Street, there was a good attendance of members, and the proceedings were carried out enthusiastically under the chairmanship of Mr D. A. Donald, the club captain.
The balance sheet revealed a credit balance of £l6 18s 2d. Mr W. G. Perry stated that this was considered very satisfactory as it represented a loss of only 19s lid as compared with the previous year’s loss of £l3. There was every chance that in the coming year the club would be able to balance its budget. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron. Mr A. McDonald: president, Mr N. G. F. Whiteman; club' captain. B. J. Doyle; hon secretary. D. A. Donald; hon treasurer, W. G. Perry; hon recording officer, H. L. Cornish; squadron leaders. I. Flaws. H. Fulton and P. Blatchford. hon auditor, T. S. Stilburn. Mr Allan Roe and Dr Campbell kindly acted as scrutineers during the voting. The various trophies won during the year were presented by Dr Campbell who congratulated the winners on their success. H. Fulton received the W. G. Perry Cup for the highest aggregate of points won in contests during the year, and P. Blatchford. leader of No. 2 Squadron, received trie squadron cup. The meeting was brought to a close with a vote of thanks to the retiring club captain, and secretary, Messrs D. A. Donald and B. J. Boyle respectively.
