CARNIVAL CONTEST GREEN QUEEN’S CANDIDATURE. (“Times-Age” Special.) A very successful gathering was held last evening in aid of the Green Queen’s candidature, taking the form of a euchre party and dance in the Town Hall. The winners of the euchre were: Ladies, Mrs Gwmstone 1. Mrs MeCardie 2. Men, O. Herrick 1, R. Duffy 2. ... The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr and Mrs Frazer.

The clock competition was won by J. P. Connolly, the watch by Mrs Caseley, and a parcel by Chas Michell. Mr A. Beveridge acted as M.C.
