TRAINING V.A.D’S.

SCHEME FOR MASTERTON HOSPITAL. MEETING NEXT TUESDAY. Branches of the St. John Ambulance Society and the Red Cross Society in Masterton are requested to send a delegate to attend a meeting to be held at the office of the Wairarapa Hospital Board, Masterton Hospital, on Tuesday next, at 7.30 p.m., to consider a scheme for the training of voluntary aid detachments. It has been suggested that V.A.D’s. should receive a certain amount of hospital training. The meeting has been called with a view to organising a scheme.
