DEPARTURE FROM ECUADOR MAY BECOME COMMERCE RAIDER. ON PACIFIC APPROACHES TO PANAMA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrigtn (Received This Day, 12.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON, September 20. The “New York Times” correspondent at Panama states that the German ship Leipzig, which took refuge at Guayaquil (in Ecuador) put to sea yesterday. It is feared she may engage in raiding British and French commercec bound for the Canal.
