WAR INCREASE IN PAY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON. September 20. The Maritime Commission has announced a 25 per cent increase in sailors’ pay during the emergency, a 150 dollars clothing bonus if clothing is damaged, and base pay, plus 25 per cent, in the event of a sailor being interned. No insurance is possible under the law.
