HAWKE’S BAY SHOW

ENTRIES CLOSE SEPTEMBER 27. ' Intending Exhibitors at the Hawke’s Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society’s spring show, to be held on October 18 and 19, are reminded that all entries close on September 27. The Hawke’s Bay show is noted for its light horse and competitions sections for which liberal prize money is offered in addition to a number of valuable trophies including the Twist Memorial Cup for most points in the leaping events which also carries a miniature cup. With its central position on the East Coast the Hawke’s Bay Show is a splendid advertising medium for all classes of stud stock, and this particularly applies to sheep and all breeds of cattle, especially beef breeds. Everything possible is done for the convenience of exhibitors from outside districts and green feed and mangolds are provided free, also pollard and milk for pigs! Boxes are provided for all classes of horses from outside districts. Although entries do not close until September 27, exhibitors, especially those requiring accommodation will greatly assist by forwarding their entries as early as possible.
