POLISH AMBASSADOR TO RUSSIA EMBASSY IN WASHINGTON TO REMAIN. U..S.A. REPRESENTATIVE GOING TO FRANCE. LONDON. September 18. The Moscow correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” states that the Polish Ambassador has been ordered to leave Russia immediately for Rumania with his entire staff. Acting on the advice of the Polish Government, Sir Howard Kennard, British Ambassador in Warsaw, passed into Rumania yesterday with the remaining members of his staff. In Washington the State Department said M. Potocki would continue to represent Poland in the United States, despite the country’s disintegration. The department is seeking to settle the status of the United States’ representation in Poland. The Secretary of State. Mr Cordell Hull, announced that Mr Biddle was going to France and the Embassy in Poland would probably be establishe.d in Paris if the Polish Government was there.
