OTHER PEOPLE’S IDEAS
“LUCKY DlP’’ (To the Editor.) Sir, —In a humble way 1 have been connected with amateur dramatics in this district for some seven or eight years. In the pursuit of this hobby it has been my pleasure and privilege to make many friends and acquaintances. May I, through the medium of the “Times-Age," advise these friends on no account to miss seeing the performance of the three-act play at the Opera House tonight and tomorrow night. “Lucky Dip” is a sparkling play, very modern, without the nastiness which is to be found in some socalled “modern” plays. I have had the opportunity of attending one rehearsal and can assure the Masterton public that the cast is excellent, the prices are reasonable, the cause is good, and the audience will enjoy a bright and thrilling evening—Yours, etc., VIVIAN JOSEPH, Hon. Treasurer, British Drama League. Masterton, September 19.
