HEAVY CANNONADING
(Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) LUXEMBOURG, September 18. Heavy artillery was heard in the Moselle sector. German shells fell in the German village' of Perl, which is in French hands, for two hours. The French appeared to be concentrating their fire on the village of- Borg, to bring pressure presumably against Saarburg, 12 miles from the West wall.
