CUP WON BY THE CARDINAL FLYING TO ERNDALE. (By Telegraph—Press Associa‘ion.l AUCKLAND, September 16. Fine weather favoured the opening of the Avondale Jockey Club’s spring meeting today and there was a large attendance. The totalisator handled £49,475 10s against £37,039 10s last year, an increase of £12,436. The course was holding after rain during the week and this was reflected in the slow times. Results: —
