WOMEN’S ORGANISATIONS IN BRITAIN. APPOINTMENT BY THE KING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, September 15. A Ministry of Information communique states that the Queen is now head of the women’s defence services. The King has appointed her Commati-dant-in-Chief of the Women’s Royal Naval Service Auxiliary, Territorial Service Women’s Auxiliary and Air Force Auxiliary.
