CENTRAL SCHOOL DANCE

GATHERING ON SATURDAY. NIGHT. An enjoyable function was held in ! hc Central School Assembly Hall on Saturday evening when the pupils of forms one and two held a dance for which they had been preparing during the winter months. The programme consisted of old-time dances. The winners of the Monte Carlo waltz were Miss Pauline Cooper and Mr William Finlayson. The help of members of the committee of the Parents’ Association and the services of the Barnes Brothers’ orchestra, who returned their fee as a donation, wore very much appreciated. After supper a happy evening was brought to an end with the singing of ■Auld Lang Syne" and the National Anthem.
