ALLEGED GAMING HOUSE

LOCAL RESIDENT ARRESTED. (“Times-Age” Special.) Arrested on a charge of having used the premises of the Star Restaurant. Martinborough, as a common gaminghouse, the proprietor, Paul Michael, appeared in the Magistrates’ Court, Martinborough on Saturday and was remanded till Wednesday. Bail of £lOO in his own recognisance was allowed.

Michael was arrested as the result of a-visit paid to the premises by De-tective-Sergeant W. Kane and Constable C. Rearden, of Masterton.
