KNOX SUNDAY SCHOOL

CLASSES USE NEW BUILDING. McGregor hall crowded out. The new Knox Sunday School building was used for the first time yesterday. The occasion was marked by an opening ceremony, conducted by’the Sunday School superintendent, Mr G. W. Morice. McGregor Hall was filled to overflowing, additional seating accommodation having to be secured for the large assembly of Sunday School scholars and Bible Class students besides a representative attendance of parents.

The opening service was of a brief nature and included the baptism by the Rev John Davie of the infant child of Mr and Mrs McGregor, Manaia. At the conclusion of the ceremony the various classes moved off to their own rooms for the morning’s lessons.
