SOME USEFUL HINTS. Add clear, strong coffee to the starch, if a creamy shade is desired, when laundering curtains. A little oil of lavender poured in a glass of hot water makes a pleasant jdour in a sick room. A little glycerine added to the rinsing water will help to keep flannels soft.
