ATTACK ON KIEL
THE BRITISH AIR RAID. CASUALTIES EXAGGERATED BY GERMANS. (British Official Wireless.) | RUGBY, September 14. The original communique concerning the air raid on the German naval bases stated: “Our aircraft encountered air attack and fire, resulting in some casualties.” It can be affirmed on official authority that the total casualties were considerably fewer than the numbers mentioned in the German claims, which can only be described as a deliberate exaggeration.
