BASKETBALL
PRIMARY SCHOOLS. TOURNEY AT MASTERTON. The annual basketball tournament for primary schools will be held tomorrow morning on the Central School grounds. Play will commence at 9 a.m.. 22 teams will compete including one from Greytown and three from Carterton. The games are being played in'three grades, A, B. and C. Some keen contests are anticipated as many of the inter-school games have been very closely contested.
In view of the fact that a Recreation Week is being observed at the end of the month, it is hoped that parents and friends will show their interest by attending. The final of C grade is set down for 11 a.m. and finals for'A and B grades at 11.30 a.m.
