At the Forest Hills tennis tournament in the fourth round of the national singles Kopman- defeated Grant 7/5, 7/5, 5/7, 6/3 Grant had hitherto been unbeaten by any Australian player. Mrs Bundy defeated Mrs Hammersly 6/1, 6/4. Gilbert Hunt defeated Parker, 6/1, 6/1, 6/1. Van Horn defeated Cooks, 6/3, 8/10. 6/4, 7/5. Miss Helen Jacobs defeated Miss Nina Brown. 6/2, 6/2.
