FORESTERS’ LODGE

COURT LOYAL ENTERPRISE. FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The fortnightly meeting of Court Loyal Enterprise, Ancient Order of Foresters, was held in Masterton last evening. The Chief Ranger, Bro H. C. Stewart presided over a fair attendance. Bro S. V. Sharman reported that the sick members were making satisfactory progress. The' secretary read a letter from the District Executive expressing thanks and appreciation of the splendid reception given the District Chief Ranger and his officers at the recent combined meeting held in Masterton. The District Secretary stated that the meeting was one of the most enjoyable they had attended. Bro Stewart thanked all who had assisted to make the gathering the success it was.

Bro G. G. Jackson reported on the meeting of the committee of the Hospital Association and advised that satisfactory arrangements had been made with the Board and duty appreciated. The sum of £1 was donated to the Christmas cheer fund for the lepers on Mokogai Island. Sick pay ana accounts amounting to £2l 16s 8d were passed for payment.

At the conclusion of business an enjoyable game of indoor bowls was played with the M.U.1.0.0.F. lodge resulting in the honours being fairly even.
