Three Meetings on Saturday
SUBSIDISED STALLION SCHEME (BY “CARBINE.”) There will be three race meetings on Saturday next—Foxton, Ashburton County, and Avondale. The more important one is the latter fixture, at which a number of the best horses in the Dominion will be seen in action. A line as to immediate form is obtainable at Avondale and many punters base much of their Riccarton November betting on such meetings as Avondale.
