WOMEN’ INSTITUTE
MEETING AT TINUI. (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Tinui women’s institute was held in the local hall. Owing to the absence of Mrs O'Hara (president), Mrs I. Speedy presided. The competition results are as follows: —Biscuits, Mrs McKay 1, Miss D. Groves 2; Mrs Carmen 3. Sugar bag article, Mrs McKay 1, Mrs Carmen 2. Flovzers, Mrs McKay 1, Mrs Campbell 2,- Mrs Stewart 3. Wall competition, Mrs Stewart, Miss McAlister and Miss French (equal).
