OBITUARY
MRS. J. L. WHITE. The death occurred at her residence, 110 Pownall Street, yesterday, of Mrs John Leigh White, at the age of 61 years. The late Mrs White was born in Christchurch, and was married in Auckland. Her husband, a former Employee of the P. and T. Department, was killed in the Great War. Mrs White has resided in Masterton for the past 30 years. She is survived by one son, Mr J. A. White, and one daughter, Miss E. M. White, of Masterton, besides three sisters and four brothers. . The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service Ltd., Church Street, at the conclusion of a service commencing at 3 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
