TABLE TENNIS
WINTER SPORTS CLUB. PROPOSED TOURNAMENT. There was a fair attendance at a meeting of the MasteHon Winter Sports Club held on Wednesday night, Mr Winslade presiding. A motion was carried that the club hold its closing night on October 7. The committee decided to hold their annual club championships on September 23 and also a handicap tournament. It was also decided that on September 28 the club should run a tournament, inviting all outside clubs to participate, as the proceeds are to be donated to the local Scout fund. This tournament will take the form of men’s and ladies’ singles and combined doubles. Local clubs are asked to support the tournament.
