ST. MATTHEW’S CHURCH

LADIES’ GUILD MEETING. Mrs. E. J. Rich presided over the ordinary meeting of St. Matthew’s Ladies’ Guild which was held in the Parish Hall, Masterton, yesterday afternoon. Arrangements were finalised for the “Shilling Afternoon,” to be held on Wednesday, September 13. when Miss Bargrove, matron of the C.M.S. Hospital, Hangchow, China, will be the speaker. It was decided that the sugar bag competition which had been postponed from the previous social afternoon be held on September 13. The serving of afternoon tea brought the meeting to a close.
