MANY AIR RAIDS
POLES REPORT SEVERE FIGHTING PRESSURE ON CORRIDOR INCREASING. HEAVY CASUALTIES ON BOTH SIDES. (Received This Day, 10.50 a.m.) WARSAW, September 3. Fifty-eight persons were killed in an air raid on Lublin. There were eight other raids yesterday. The objectives included Cracow, Radom, Poznan and Warsaw’s airport. German pressure is increasing in the Corridor Province of Pomorze. There have been considerable casualties on both sides. There was severe fighting south of Zakopane.
