Montreal.—lndicative of the extensive interest aroused by the visit of their Majesties. King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, to Canada, newspaper correspondents who ‘'covered - ' the royal trip across the Dominion filed a total of approximately 1,500,000 words by telegraph and cable to all parts of the world. It has been calculated that this wordage was sufficient to fill approximately 1,500 newspaper columns of reading matter. In addition, large quantities of descriptive articles were sent by mail.
