MR NASH RETURNS

WELCOME AT AUCKLAND. SATISFIED WITH RESULTS OF MISSION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. General satisfaction with the results of his mission was expressed by the Hon W. .Nash (Minister of Finance) on his return by the Mariposa from San Francisco today, after four months spent in visiting Britain, Ireland, France, the United States and Canada. Mr Nash said he had benefited from the sea voyage after his strenuous negotiations in London and ‘ expressed pleasure at being back in New Zealand. .He was met aboard by Mrs Nash, the Hon P. C. Webb, Mr F. R. Picot (Director of Internal Marketing) and the chairman and superintendent of the Auckland Harbour Board (Messrs Darlow* and Holderness) and his private secretary, Mr T. R. Aickin, who returned with Mrs Nash a month ago. Mr Nash was a popular figure among the passengers, having entered fully into the social life of the ship.
