In the Supreme Court today, a claim for £BOO damages resulting from the burning of a baby by a hot water bottle in the Grey Hospital was settled on the basis of £350 damages. The plaintiffs were Mr and Mrs <*} A. R. Ferguson and the defendants Uic Grey Hospital Board. According to the statement of claim, the baby was placed in a cot after birth and the left thigh came into contact with a hot water bottle. Skin grafting was necessary.
