OBITUARY
MR A. H. DEW. The death occurred last night rather suddenly of Mr Abraham Harris Dew, of Te Whiti. The late Mr Dew. who was born at Taita 63 years ago, was the fourth son of the late Mr and Mrs George Dew. He had been employed on the west coast of the South Island for a large number of years and had been a resident of the Wairarapa for the past 20 years. He had been employed at Te Whiti for the past 12 years. . He was of a quiet and very kindly disposition. Mr Dew was unmarried and is survived by four brothers and four sisters. The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the Chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service Ltd., Church Street, after a service commencing at 2.30 p.m.. for the Masterton Cemetery.
