Quebec. —His Excellency the Gov-ernor-General of Canada recently received a unique typewritten letter. The letter measured nine feet by thirteen, and the letters were three inches long. This massive letter which came by express in a seven-foot envelope, was written on a 14-ton typewriter at the New York World’s Fair. It contained a message from Grover Whalen, president of the Fair and read as follows: "Canada’s historic Dominion Day is being celebrated as 'Canada Day’ at the New York World's Fair. To you and your people, whose future is universally envied, the world of tomorrow sends this message of felicitation and friendship.”
