In the track gallops at Randwick today Te Hero recorded easily the best five furlongs on the outside track in 1.3 His stable connections are wondering why he does not perform so generously when racing. Beau Vite. Moorsotis. and Rathlin staged an interesting contest over seven furlongs, run in 1.30. Beau Vile was going the best of the trio at the finish. Defaulter was let off with an easy seven furlongs, covered in 1.39. Peerless and Pearl of Asia worked soundly on the tan over seven furlongs, run in 1.30: Peerless is expected to improve in her next race. Te Horo (9.0), Moorsotis (8.0), and Beau Vite (8.0) have been entered for the Canterbury Stakes next Saturday. Pearl of Asia (7.9) and Olympus (7.13) are engaged in the Flying Handicap. High Caste (8.5) is in the Canterbury Guineas and Bronze Flight (7.7) in the Ashbury Handicap.
