WRESTLING
PROFESSIONAL MATCH TONIGHT.
If such were necessary, a final reminder is given of the professional wrestling match in the Opera House. Masterton, tonight betwen Prine Bhu Pinder ,of India, and Frank Forster, of South Africa. It will be their first meeting and promises to be highly interesting from more points than one. Both are contenders for the British Empire heavyweight championship, which Bhu Pinder nearly captured from McCready last Saturday night in Auckland, a most strenuous match ending in a draw. Forster is also keen to gam this title and to further his claim for an early match, a win tonight would be very valuable to him, but rugged as he is, he will have a big task to beat the clever and versatile Indian.
The amateur preliminaries include the New Zealand heavyweight champion, Dryden, in a return match with Williams, the Otago champion. The whole programme warrants patrons being seated by eight o’clock. The Wairarapa amateur championships will be decided on Friday next in the Featherston Town Hall.
